A life of giving is a life worth living...

it is finally over... 3 days of funeral can be such a short time for some and for others, it may seem like a million years. such exhagarating words...

where else can you find a funeral that is so free from tears and aches..? not that it is a christian funeral but because the person lying there has never given anything, nor has he received...?

So would that be considered fair? since he has never been given, how can he ever give? What is equity and fairness? must you be loved before you can go out and love others? what can supercede this natural law? much as a tree requires sunlight and water and minerals before it can bear fruit, would we expect something/someone who has never been given anything to give? what makes of this expectation? Who am I to judge?

I can think of something worse: a tree that has access to all the water and sunlight and minerals but refusing to bear fruit.

Thankfully, there was much consolation from all the sisters and brothers in Christ that came to lend their support. Much prayer, not for the one who has gone, but for the young ones who are just about to face the world. I am sort of in between, almost ready to take on the world, but not so ready yet. May the joy of the Lord be my strength to fight on in the years ahead.

For the worldly affairs, let me say this: 要关心,不要担心!Never underestimate the devastating effects of organised evil. but don;t forget the power of organised good too.

Chinese New Year is coming, let all those who receive, generously GIVE!
