JOY!

My bestest, one and only bro, says that he needs a break from being a Christian, I tried to find out from him what is 'turning him off'. Is it the 'many demands' of living a Christian life, the expectations, or is it really like what he said, he has no convictions, whatsoever, when it comes to the sermon, worship and people in church. We talked for 2 hours, it was well worth every second. No I did not try to convince him to go church, in fact, I was trying to explain to him what it means to be a Christian, the cause we are living for, the faith and also the convictions that I hold. She's right, you can never convince a person to go to church, but you DO have to invite, to exemplify, to explain. Because if you are not going to be the ambassador for Christ, who else will?

After coming back from 1 1/2 days of planning retreat with Crusade, going to Bt.Batok, getting tensed up a little over the Batam trip, thinking and writing support letters for Malaysia trip, I am really tired and I had to rest. What a wonderful 8 hours of rest from 12mn to 8 this morning. How many more days of such rest do I get? Once per week? But thats 1/3 of a day! I do not have 1/3 of a day to give up to sleeping! I have many many things to do, I have responsibilities, perhaps too many right now. I need to constantly remind myself of the burden, the cause, the passion, the Love, I cannot be distracted is such crucial moments. Sure I need rest, I can have those rest when I am an elderly, NOW is the time to PRAY, to expect God to do GREAT things. To strive in my FYP, design project, encourage the cell, excite the engine ministry of Crusade, challenging people to grow, suddenly, my heart is filled with so much excitement! Time is but how you manage it, arrangement and scheduling, priorities and sacrifices.

I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me!

You Alone

You are the peace that guards my heart,
my help in times of need.
You are the Hope that leads me on,
that brings me to my knees.
For there I find You waiting
and there I find release.
So with all my heart I'll worship,
and unto You I'll sing.

For You alone deserve all Glory,
for You alone deserve all Praise.
Father we worship and adore You,
Father we long to see Your face.
For You alone deserve all Glory,
for You alone deserve all Praise.
Father we love You, and we worship You this day.

Thank you Jesus for the peace that I have, amidst the storm.
Only You deserve everything, but only You gave everything.
THANK YOU!
